bauma CONEXPO INDIA 2026 will take place from September 15 to 18, 2026, at India Expo Centre, Greater Noida, with JCB, Volvo Construction Equipment and Ammann among the manufacturers that have published their confirmed participation and planned displays. The organisers describe the 2026 event as the 8th International Trade Fair for Construction Machinery, Building Material Machines, Mining Machines and Construction Vehicles.
Rather than another general show preview, this guide focuses on what the three manufacturers have officially confirmed ahead of the exhibition.
JCB has confirmed its presence at OD40 at India Expo Centre & Mart and published a broad equipment line-up for the event.
The manufacturer’s published list includes the JCB 3DX, 3DX Plus and 3DX Super backhoe loaders, along with the Agrimax, 35Z and 18Z mini excavators. The display also includes the 81 Eco+, 150FM, 215FM, 225 QM, 345HD and 520X excavators, VM117 and VMT300 compactors, telehandlers and the S4550E electric-drive access platform.
JCB’s event page lists the 3DX with a 37 kW (49 hp) Stage 5 engine, 4.77 m digging depth and 0.26 m³ bucket capacity. The 3DX Plus is listed with a 55 kW (74 hp) engine, 4.77 m digging depth and 0.26 m³ bucket capacity. The 3DX Super is listed with 74 hp, 5.05 m digging depth and a 0.30 m³ backhoe bucket.
The three machines carrying different model names but overlapping published horsepower figures are therefore reported here exactly as JCB currently lists them, rather than being adjusted on the basis of expected product hierarchy.
JCB’s event material also includes the 18Z mini excavator in the exhibition line-up. The company’s current event page presents the machine as a newly launched product, so that description is retained here.
For the Indian market, JCB itself uses Stage 5 terminology on the current India event page. Equipment Brief retains the manufacturer’s terminology rather than substituting a different emissions designation.
Volvo Construction Equipment has also published its bauma CONEXPO INDIA 2026 machine display.
For mining applications, the company’s published line-up includes the EC480 and EC650 excavators and the L150 wheel loader.
Under construction and infrastructure, Volvo CE lists the EC210, EC220, EC215 and EC300 excavators, the L120 Electric wheel loader, and the DD90 and SD110 soil compactors.
The presence of the L120 Electric gives visitors an electric wheel-loader option within Volvo CE’s published exhibition line-up. Volvo’s current India product page lists the machine at 19,700–21,000 kg operating weight, with a 3.3–5.5 m³ bucket capacity and 282 kWh battery capacity.
Volvo CE’s event page also separately lists the EC650 for mining and the EC300, EC215, EC220 and EC210 for construction and infrastructure applications.
The published line-up therefore spans both heavy excavation and mining equipment and machinery aimed at roadbuilding and wider infrastructure work.
Ammann India has confirmed its participation at OD95 in the Outdoor Exhibition Area.
Its published focus covers asphalt production, paving, compaction, concrete production and concrete placement. The company says visitors can discuss plant and equipment requirements, site conditions, material requirements and after-sales support with its team.
That gives road contractors a display covering several stages of the production and construction chain rather than a single machine category.
Ammann’s current event material confirms the same September 15–18 dates and OD95 location.
The exhibition also has a formal conference programme running alongside the machinery displays.
The official event programme includes technical sessions covering areas such as deconstruction, concrete durability and fluid-power technology, together with a CEO-level programme. These sessions are part of the official bauma CONEXPO INDIA 2026 programme.
The published opening hours are 10:00 to 18:00 from September 15 to 17, followed by 10:00 to 17:00 on September 18.
The confirmed manufacturer information already shows a broad spread across the construction-equipment market.
JCB’s published display covers backhoe loaders, excavators, compactors, telehandlers and access equipment. Volvo CE is showing machines across mining, construction, infrastructure and electric equipment, while Ammann is concentrating on road construction, asphalt, concrete and compaction.
For contractors, the useful comparison will be less about the number of machines on display and more about the details behind them: machine configuration, application suitability, operating economics, powertrain choices, support arrangements and availability for Indian projects.
Equipment Brief will also distinguish between a machine being listed for display and a new product launch. A product will only be described as a launch where the manufacturer itself confirms that status.
The same rule applies to specifications. Published manufacturer figures are retained as supplied and should be understood as specifications for the relevant model and configuration.
The confirmed pre-show information provides only the starting point.
During the exhibition, the focus will shift to what manufacturers actually announce, demonstrate and discuss with contractors and equipment buyers. That includes new machine launches, electrification, road-construction equipment, mining machinery and technology systems.
