India’s crawler-excavator market is a major part of the country’s construction-equipment industry. ICEMA recorded 35,816 crawler excavators sold in FY2025, accounting for about 36% of earthmoving-equipment sales. Earthmoving equipment as a whole accounted for 99,159 units, or 71% of total construction-equipment sales during the year.
