Greater Noida, September 16, 2026: JCB India unveiled 10 new machines at bauma CONEXPO INDIA 2026, putting a new range of backhoe loaders at the centre of its exhibition display and highlighting products developed, engineered and manufactured in India.
JCB is showcasing 21 products at the four-day exhibition in Greater Noida. The company says the new portfolio is designed to address evolving requirements in Indian operating conditions while also supporting domestic and international markets.
The new JCB 3DX, 3DX Plus and 3DX Super backhoe loaders form a key part of the new product lineup.
The JCB 3DX is powered by a 37 kW (49 hp) Stage 5 engine and offers a 4.77 m digging depth with a 0.26 m³ bucket capacity. The machine is positioned for everyday construction applications.
The JCB 3DX Plus uses a 55 kW (74 hp) Stage 5 engine and offers a 4.77 m digging depth and 0.26 m³ bucket capacity. JCB says the new range incorporates changes aimed at improving fuel efficiency, productivity, operator comfort and maintenance.
The JCB 3DX Super delivers 74 hp, a 5.05 m digging depth and a 0.30 m³ backhoe bucket. It is also equipped with 4WD and a 6-in-1 multipurpose bucket as standard fitments, according to JCB.
Beyond the backhoe loaders, JCB’s bauma CONEXPO INDIA portfolio includes the 18Z mini excavator, 35Z mini excavator, 81 Eco+, 150FM, 215FM, 225 QM, 345HD and 520X. The company is also displaying the 475-5 wheel loader, telehandlers, access platforms and other equipment.
Among the larger machines, the 475-5 wheel loader is powered by a 239 kW (320 hp) Cummins engine and has a reported payload of 7,627 kg. JCB positions the machine for quarry and mining material-handling applications.
The 225 QM is configured for quarrying applications, while the 520X is designed for mining and demanding heavy-duty work.
JCB is also using the exhibition to showcase electrification in its access-platform range. The display includes the S4550E electric scissor lift and the A60E all-electric articulated boom lift.
The S4550E is designed for elevated access applications with zero-emission operation, while the A60E is an all-electric articulated boom platform intended for indoor and outdoor applications.
The new product introductions come with a strong focus on India’s role in JCB’s global manufacturing strategy. JCB has described the exhibition portfolio as globally benchmarked products that are designed, engineered and manufactured in India for both domestic and international customers.
The emphasis fits into the company’s wider positioning of India as an important manufacturing and export base, while the breadth of the bauma display reflects demand across construction, infrastructure, quarrying, mining, agriculture and material-handling applications.
