Mumbai, August 26, 2026: Larsen & Toubro’s Construction & Mining Machinery business has entered into a partnership with FAYAT Road Equipment Division (FRED) India to market and support BOMAG specialised road-construction equipment in India. The partnership covers marketing, sales, after-sales support and the supply of spare parts.
The agreement adds BOMAG’s specialised road machinery to L&T’s existing equipment portfolio, expanding its offering for road construction, maintenance and wider infrastructure applications.
Under the agreement, L&T will market and support three key categories of BOMAG equipment in India: road milling machines, soil stabilisers and cement spreaders.
The equipment will be sold and supported through L&T’s existing Construction & Mining Machinery business, including its nationwide service network and spare-parts infrastructure.
The specialised BOMAG range will complement L&T’s existing road-machinery portfolio, covering applications such as pavement milling, soil stabilisation, cement spreading and other road-construction and maintenance requirements.
A key component of the partnership is after-sales support. L&T said its nationwide service network, supported by a central warehouse in Nagpur, will provide technical assistance and spare-parts support throughout the equipment lifecycle.
For customers operating specialised road equipment, access to local service and parts support can be an important consideration when deploying equipment across project sites.
BOMAG is part of the FAYAT Road Equipment Division and specialises in technologies for road construction, maintenance and rehabilitation. FAYAT said the partnership combines BOMAG’s equipment and technologies with L&T’s established customer relationships and support infrastructure in India.
According to L&T, the addition of BOMAG equipment further broadens its road-machinery portfolio and enables it to offer a wider range of specialised solutions to customers involved in infrastructure development.
The partnership comes as road construction and maintenance remain important areas of India’s infrastructure activity. For L&T, the agreement covers not only equipment sales but also after-sales support and spare-parts supply.
FAYAT has described India as a strategic growth market and said the combination of BOMAG’s technology with L&T’s market reach and service network is intended to improve access to specialised road-construction solutions.
